Dr. Gerred Knopf
Dr. Gerred Knopf started working at Sulphur Springs in 2012 and purchased the practice from Dr. James Irwin in 2020. He earned a BS in Biology from Truman State University in 2008, and his DVM from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. He has been working in the veterinary field since high school and has been able to enjoy the many different aspects of veterinary medicine. He enjoys cardiology, anesthesiology, and exotic animal medicine.
Dr. Emily Wawrzyniak
Dr. Emily Wawrzyniak was born and raised in Columbia, Missouri. She is a 2025 graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Wawrzyniak’s professional interests include preventative care, radiology and ultrasonography, and soft tissue surgery. In her free time she enjoys adding to her house plant collection and spending time with her rescue dog, Poppy.
She will be joining Sulphur Springs in June of 2025!
